With their much anticipated album release rapidly approaching, they have they have recently released the three (hot) tracked EP "Rise and Grind," to whet our appetites. Yummy. R.I.P (Rest In [blanco] Polish): My shoes *edited*

Moment of silencio por favor.

Per request, here's some background.
a.) I'm a dumbass
b.) My shoes are nowg
c.) Yes I'm still tying them
d.) Never, EVER, use white shoe polish on black shoes.

The end of a week only marks the beginning of the next

Weekends are too short yo.  Headlining this weekend?  Cruise with the lady by my side and ballin' at Battery Park with the entourage and leaving 2-0, not too shabby I'd say.  Keep ya heads up!

Whupe?

As you know, Mister Dev and I were part of A-live's on-tour-age this weekend (which is funny in itself because the weekend begins tonight for most people).  Well, if you haven't heard from CNN, the New York Times, Maxim, the Wallstreet Journal, WEEI, Goodhouse Keeping, or any of the various other news outlets, he rocked the show with Ontrak Entertainment and placed 1st in Umass Amherst' Slaughter of the Bands.  This means Lupe Fiasco will have a chance to perform alongside A-live and Ontrak Entertainment May 3rd!! Congrats Lu!!  Oh my bad, what I meant to say was, Ontrak will be opening for Lupe Fiasco at Umass' Spring Concert.  Dare I ask, Whupe?

Anyways, here are some clips and snapshots of the show:

Enjoy the show.

Checking for Po's in the rearview.  Sweerrvinn'!!

Too handsome for straight camera work, nh.

On-tourage

Offcially on. Today SeƱor Dev and I are riding down to the home town of Chillajuwon. No, we ain't going to Nigeria nor are we going to the Arctic Circle. We are heading to Boston where we will be on tour with the one and only A-Live repping the Greenstreet crew. Anyways, right now the tour bus just crossed into Connecticut and Mister Dev is passed-the-f out. I'm just making a quick post while guh's nap..so here are some quickies, nh, to give you an idea of what tonight's concert *edit* slaying, might be like:

Mr. Dev (note the random groupie behind him)

I can't see! Blaming the 3rd dimension..

Here we go. Props to Mr. Dev for keeping the tiger warm.

Anyways, shoutout to Ani, see you in 2 hrs.

Job market

What more can I say?

Speech

Following is the transcript of ChillyRay’s Inaugural Address, as transcribed by gstreet Transcriptions:

PRESIDENT CHILL: Thank you. Thank you.

CROWD: CHILL! CHILL! CHILL!

My fellowg's: I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne byg's.

I thank Mr. Dev for his continued service to our nation...

(APPLAUSE)

... as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.

...

That the nation is in the midst of crisis is now well understood. We are at war against a far-reaching network of guh's. Though the economy is badly weakened, greed and irresponsibility on the part of the entourage will lead the nation into a new age.

Homes will be purchased, jobs shed, businesses run. Our health will be toasted to, our schools will fail us, and each day brings further evidence that the ways we throw bread will strengthen us and threaten our planet.

...

Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real, they are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this America: They will be met.

Because we don't do change.
